The William Travis Group is looking for a Business Continuity / Incident Management Analyst with a proven interest and skill for business development and an interest in a new opportunity in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Job Description:
- Conduct business impact analyses and assist company units to determine critical business processes, identify acceptable recovery time periods and establish resources required for the successful resumption of business operations in the event of a disaster
- Develop and maintain business continuity/incident management plan documentation
- Assume a leadership role in developing, coordinating and maintaining a comprehensive testing program to ensure the ability to resume critical business capability in the event of a disaster
- Manage a control process that keeps all plans updated for changes in recovery teams, new equipment, facilities, services and systems
- Maintain all BC/IM related vendor agreements in an accurate state
- Assist recovery support and business resumption staff during a disaster in the implementation of response and alternate operating strategies – Act as coordinator during an emergency
Requirements:
- STRONG writing and verbal skills, in both technical and narrative styles
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin., Information Mgt., or related field, or work experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in development and documentation of disaster recovery/incident management/business continuity plans, as well as testing and maintenance functions
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of personnel and vendors
- Strong project management skills
